Banquo Ltd provides person-centred homecare and support for adults living with dementia.
We understand that dementia affects each person differently. Our support is shaped around the individual’s life history, routines, relationships, abilities, communication needs and personal preferences. We aim to help people remain safe, comfortable and connected to what is familiar and meaningful to them.
Dignified and reassuring support with personal care, washing, dressing, continence care and everyday routines.
Support with meals, nutrition and hydration, alongside medication support in accordance with the individual’s care plan.
Support to maintain familiar routines, with memory prompts, orientation and reassurance tailored to the individual.
Meaningful activities based on personal interests and life history, with companionship and support to reduce loneliness.
Support with mobility, maintaining a safe home environment, attending appointments and accessing the local community.
Respite, hospital discharge, overnight, waking-night or live-in support, with end-of-life support where appropriate.
We work closely with families, representatives and professionals to promote continuity of care and recognise changes in the person’s needs.
Support is provided in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act, respecting each person’s rights, wishes and involvement in decisions about their care.
